Gotham Knights #37 Step 3 Step 3.

Oops! I was wrong about calling it "Perspective". At this stage I've called the layer with the perspective lines on it "Construction". You can rename the layers as you go.

Here I've made a copy of the Background, which contains just the logo and the bar code box, by dragging its layer down to the little "New Document" icon at the bottom of the Layer palate. I've then deleted the original Background layer. This allows be to fade the "Background copy" layer like all the others.

Usually I don't have the palates obscuring the drawing while I'm working but for the purposes of this demonstration, thanks to the "Take a snapshot" facility on the computer (Command-Shift-4), I can drag them across and show you any palate that may be relevant.

At this point I'm still struggling to work out where Spoiler's arms and legs are going to go. I have two layers containing versions of her left leg, both grayed out, and now I have a new layer called "Left arm" on which I'm trying out a new position for her left arm. You can see I'm struggling! People think this stuff is "computer generated" but you still have to know how to draw - a skill I'm currently working on!
